Ingredients
FOR THE SMASHED BURGER:
- 500 g ground chicken or beef
- Handful of chopped parsley
- 1 tsp salt
- 1.5 tsp cumin
- 1.5 tsp coriander powder
- 1.5 tsp paprika
- 0.5 tsp garlic paste
- 0.5 tsp ginger paste
- 1.5 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp pomegranate molasses
- Naan regular or mini
FOR THE JALEPENO CREMA:
- Handful of mint and coriander
- 1 jalapeño
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
Instructions
- In a blender, add jalapeño, mint, coriander, garlic cloves, cumin powder, sugar, oil, and plain yogurt and blend until smooth. Thin out with water if needed and set aside
- In a bowl, mix together the ground chicken/beef, chopped parsley, salt, cumin, coriander powder, paprika, garlic paste, ginger paste, dijon mustard, and pomegranate molasses
- Press an even layer of the meat mix onto your naan
- Place meat side down on an oiled skillet and fry for 3-5 minutes on medium heat to get a sear
- Flip and fry for an additional minute.
- Serve with jalapeño crema and enjoy!
