Smashed Burger Naans with a Tangy Jalapeño Crema

These smashed burger naans are a tasty, easy, and unique meal idea. With its flavorful meat mix and tangy jalepeno crema, it's sure to be the perfect meal idea with a side salad or even an appetizer for the next time you host.

Ingredients  

FOR THE SMASHED BURGER:

  • 500 g ground chicken or beef
  • Handful of chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1.5 tsp cumin
  • 1.5 tsp coriander powder
  • 1.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp garlic paste
  • 0.5 tsp ginger paste
  • 1.5 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp pomegranate molasses
  • Naan regular or mini

FOR THE JALEPENO CREMA:

  • Handful of mint and coriander
  • 1 jalapeño
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt

Instructions 

  • In a blender, add jalapeño, mint, coriander, garlic cloves, cumin powder, sugar, oil, and plain yogurt and blend until smooth. Thin out with water if needed and set aside
  • In a bowl, mix together the ground chicken/beef, chopped parsley, salt, cumin, coriander powder, paprika, garlic paste, ginger paste, dijon mustard, and pomegranate molasses
  • Press an even layer of the meat mix onto your naan
  • Place meat side down on an oiled skillet and fry for 3-5 minutes on medium heat to get a sear
  • Flip and fry for an additional minute.
  • Serve with jalapeño crema and enjoy!
